Nature Heals

Stress, anxiety, and depression are always on the rise. But, it is scientifically proven that spending time in and around nature decreases cortisol levels, the primary stress hormone. A study was also shown that putting art up in hospitals reduced length of stay for patients. Art and nature is a healthy way to treat stress, anxiety, and depression, lifts our mood, and can even heal the body.

My Inspiration

Growing up, I always felt different and misunderstood. I’ve had a stutter for as long as I can remember, which led to being made fun of and laughed at often. Because I lacked the confidence to speak, I felt like I had to communicate with my actions. Photography and art is a way for me to express something meaningful to a world that often felt like it rejected me.
