Scotty Lives with his wife and two dogs in Roseville, CA. 

His affinity for cameras began as a skateboarder. He spent 20 years of his life traveling all over, skateboarding, and filming videos. Finding the best angle or shot for tricks was his first introduction to making art through a camera. After devoting so much of his life to skateboarding, he took a hiatus from it for a while and started hiking and backpacking a lot. At first it was taking photos and videos with his phone everywhere he went, but In 2022, he decided to pick up a camera and start taking professional photos. Once he had a camera, it quickly became an obsession of chasing the perfect shot. He wanted to capture what he saw and bring something back to civilization to show people, kind of like how a distant relative brings gifts when they come to visit. It is a gift from a distant land, and that is what he loves the most about doing landscape photography.

Known for his vibrant colors and stunning landscapes, his goal is to connect people with nature in a way that brings them fully into the moment. Forgetting about all of life's troubles in a way that only nature can.
